The Inaugural Biochar School is open for enrollment.

Farm scale appropriate technologies for biochar production, processing, and application.

A group of biochar experts will host this five day course from November 7-11 at Swallow Valley Farms, in Sonoma County, California. Josiah Hunt of Pacific Biochar will be teaching simple biochar production using open fire in an earthen pit, biochar preparation techniques with a focus on biological processes with organic fertilizer materials, and also efficient application approaches of raw and blended biochar materials.
